General Specifications

The air curtain is a kind of fan which is produced in order to provide a high flow rate and thin formed air current.

Its employment aim is to separate two environments with a system in order to provide freedom. Of movement.

The air curtains are in two types. “Simple air curtains” which don't include a heating system, using the ambient air and the “Heated air curtains” which takes the ambient air and heats it with an electrical or hot water system and uses it that way.

The heated air curtains heat the ambient air which it takes from the environment with an electrical (EH) or hot water (WH) system. These types of air curtains are used in winter or in low ambient temperatures.

A suitably chosen air curtain successfully prevents the heat loss between the environments and unwanted air transfer successfully.

The olefin air curtains are separated into two types as low output and high output according to their output powers and air speeds. Both types of air curtains can be simple heated.

Application Areas

 Low Output Air Curtains:

They are used for:

• Usually in the doors and openings not higher than 2,5 meters,
• Protection of the internal air in a state which will be nice both for the customers and the employees in the open/closed/fixed air sections (usually in the workplaces) in the protected areas.
• Keeping the environment clean against smoke, polluted air and bad smells.
• Prevention of heat loss in heated environments.
• Prevention of heat transfer in cooled entrance and exits.

High Output Air Curtains:

They are used for:

• In places where the low output air curtains are used but the openings are 3- 6 meters , the air flow rate should be minimum 13 m/sec and especially when the internal environment is required to be protected against the beetles,
• In places where isolation is required between the air currents which show large differences in static pressure and density like seaside facilities,
• In places where the layer works of air should be prevented and so energy economy should be provided.
